OmniSolv® solvents are EMD Millipore's highest purity solvents. Many of these solvents are suitable for a broad range of applications while others are tailored for specific applications. For example, OmniSolv® Acetonitrile is intended for the most demanding HPLC applications. Yet this grade solvent also has the highest UV/Vis transmittance and is suitable for use in gas chromatography. HPLC grade solvents meet all ACS specifications including those for ultraviolet/visible spectrophotometry and HPLC work.
